San Rafael, CA – The deadline has been extended a full month for practitioners in personnel work or labor relations to apply for an at-large seat on the Marin County Personnel Commission. The new deadline is 5 p.m. Monday, November 30.
The Personnel Commission serves as a planning and policy advisory body to the Marin County Board of Supervisors, the County Administrator and Department of Human Resources director on all phases of the County's personnel program, including the Marin Enterprise Resource Integrated Technology (MERIT) system. The commission may hear examination, selection, classification, discipline, layoff and grievance appeals pursuant to the County’s Personnel Management Regulations.
