San Rafael, CA – The Marin County Library Commission has an opening for a representative from District 2, which covers parts of Ross Valley and San Rafael.
The Library Commission serves as a resource and liaison to the Marin County Board of Supervisors, the Director of County Library Services, and the community. Its mission is to find ways and means of enlisting public interest in supporting and improving library services.
Residents of Gerstle Park, Lomita Park, Bret Harte, Sleepy Hollow, San Anselmo, Fairfax, Ross, Kentfield, Greenbrae and downtown Larkspur are eligible for the open position.
Regular commission meetings are at 7 p.m. on the second Wednesday of the month, unless it falls on a holiday. The location rotates among Library branches.
