Elections Office Extends Hours for June 3 Primary

Additional voting to take place Saturday, May 31 at Civic Center

San Rafael, CA – Voters may vote early in the June 3 Primary Election at the Elections Office in the Marin County Civic Center, including special hours on Saturday, May 31.

In addition to regular office hours (weekdays 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.), the office will be open from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, May 31, and from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Election Day, June 3. All ballots must be received by 8 p.m. on Election Day.

Voters should mail ballots at least five business days before the election or return them to any polling place in Marin from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Election Day. Voters may drop off completed ballots at the red, white and blue ballot box outside of the main entrance to the Civic Center through 8 p.m. Election Day. The main entrance is on Peter Behr Drive under the Civic Center’s south archway.

The Elections Office is at the Marin Civic Center, 3501 Civic Center Drive, Room 121, San Rafael, 94903. May 27 is the last day to apply for a vote-by-mail ballot by mail, online or by phone. After May 27, voters may continue to apply for a ballot in person at the office.
