Applications are being accepted through June 28 for an at-large seat on the Marin Children and Families Commission, appointed by the Marin County Board of Supervisors.
Founded in 1998 with the passage of the California Children and Families First Act, the commission is a leader in assuring that all children in Marin County from newborn to age 5 are healthy, thrive in supportive families and communities, and enter school ready to succeed. The commission, administered by First 5 Marin, usually meets the third Wednesday of each month; there will be no meeting in July or August.
