Openings Available on County Commissions

San Rafael, CA – The Marin County Board of Supervisors is recruiting candidates for two openings on the Health Council of Marin and an at-large vacancy on the Human Rights Commission. 

The seats on the Health Council are to represent health care providers. The council advises the Board of Supervisors and the Marin County Department of Health and Human Services on health issues. It advocates for the development and allocation of resources to assure quality and accessible health care, and educates on issues affecting the health and well-being of the citizens of Marin.

The Health Council application deadline is 5 p.m. Oct. 4. Candidates may apply online with this form.

The Human Rights Commission is advisory to the Supervisors and has responsibility for working to eliminate prejudice and discrimination and for fostering attitudes that will lead to civic peace and inter-group relations.
