    • February 5:
      • Vote by Mail ballots start to be mailed
      • Voting opens at the Elections Department
    • February 61: Vote by Mail Ballot Drop Boxes available.
    • February 19: Voter Registration deadline
    • February 20: Conditional Voter Registration and same day voting begins at the Elections Department
    • TBD: Public test of ballot counting equipment in the Elections Department.
    • February 23: 11 day Vote Center Locations open.
    • February 27: Last day to request a vote by mail ballot by phone to be mailed (voters can still pick up a ballot at any Vote Center in Marin)
    • March 2: 4 day Vote Center Locations open.
    • March 5, 2024: Election Day

December 18 is the deadline to file arguments for local measures. Arguments must be filed during regular business hours, weekdays 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

City/Town Measures: You must contact the appropriate City/Town Clerk’s office. Arguments/rebuttals for City/Town measures must be filed only with the City/Town Clerk’s office, which may have different deadlines and procedures.
