Untitled is a group of Bay Area artists who met in Carole Beadle’s Fiber Sculpture Class at College of Marin. Each of us works with different materials, techniques, and conceptual content, bringing traditional craft into contemporary fine art.
We meet regularly to critique each other’s artwork, ask questions, offer advice, and share resources. We all experiment, take risks and aspire to grow. We respect and understand each other’s art processes. Because of our connection to Carole and the inspiration she has provided, we invited her to join us in this exhibit.
Susan Doyle: River
Thread Paper Cloth is an intimate look into our large body of work. Since we approach our art via different paths, interests, and concerns, we hope this exhibit will resonate with a diverse audience and inspire viewers to look at their own lives through a lens that is both deeply personal and universal.
