'Celebrating 50 years!'
On view January 15 through April 23, 2020
This anniversary exhibit, “Celebrating 50 Years!” features some 75 paintings by over 95 artists who are members of the Marin County Watercolor Society and kicks off a year-long series of special exhibits celebrating the groups history in Marin County.
From landscape to still life, and abstract to realism, this presentation showcases the breadth and range of these local artists who have mastered the medium.
Established in 1970 by Ruth Alexander Stewart, the Marin County Watercolor Society is a resource for both new and experienced artists who work in watercolor. The group offers opportunities to paint plein air, exhibit in group shows, learn, and share ideas to advance their work.
This exhibit is on display in the 1st and 3rd floor galleries of the Marin County Civic Center building. The Galleries are open Monday through Friday, 8am - 6pm.
