Vaidis Valaitis — Digital Painting
On view August 8 through October 15, 2018
Vaidis Valaitis has always loved the play of light and color on three-dimensional shapes. That is how he found his way to ceramic sculpture, and then digital art. It started with his day job, as a systems analyst where he discovered another dimension in the computer world—computer graphics. Technology at the time only offered a two-dimensional digital world, but he explored its shapes and tested the medium further. Finally, technology offered three-dimensional drawing programs that provided the foundation for his current techniques and artwork—his three-dimensional works could now exist both in digital and ceramic form.
This exhibit is on display in the Bartolini Gallery, in the Marin Center Exhibit Hall. The Gallery is open Monday through Friday, 9am - 5pm and select weekends. Closed Holidays. Please email
