Land Use and Contracts Division

The Land Use and Contract Division of the office supports some of the County’s key administrative and regulatory functions, focusing on providing legal services to the Board of Supervisors, the County Administrator’s Office, the Department of Public Works, the Community Development Agency, County Parks, the Open Space District and various boards and commissions and special district clients. The work of the division focuses on areas of the law including land use, public contracts, environmental regulation, real property and open government/open records, and includes defending the County in litigation in these areas.
