Property Assessed Clean Energy (PACE) Financing
Property Assessed Clean Energy (PACE) financing is a new and innovative way for property owners to secure upfront funding for energy efficiency, water efficiency, renewable energy, and seismic improvement projects. The loan is repaid through an up to 20-year special line item on the property tax. The loan is tied to the property, not the individual, so credit score does not factor into the loan. The companies that supply PACE financing (PACE Providers) require jurisdiction approval to operate. Visit our Energy Financing page to learn which PACE Providers are available in your client's city or town.
Contractors are required to sign up through each PACE Provider in order to offer their services. The following links lead to the current PACE providers operating in unincorporated Marin County.
