The applicant requests Coastal Permit approval to drill and operate a new water well to serve a property developed with an existing residence in Point Reyes Station. The water well and associated infrastructure would be located on a three-foot by three-foot platform, would reach a maximum height of 1 foot, 6 inches above the surrounding grade, and would have the following setbacks: 282 feet from the eastern front property line; 104 feet from the northern side property line, 100 feet from the southern side property line; and 56 feet from the western rear property line.
Coastal Permit approval is required pursuant to Section 22.68.060 of the Marin County Implementation Plan because the project proposes development that includes the installation and operation of a new water well.
