The applicant requests Design Review approval to replace an existing 200 square foot rear deck with a 353 square foot deck on a developed lot in Tiburon. The finished surface of the deck would reach a maximum height of 6 feet, 2.5 inches above surrounding grade. The deck would have the following setbacks: 82 feet, 9 inches from the eastern front property line; 15 feet, 5 inches from the southern side property line; 6 feet, 6 inches from the northern side property line; 50 feet from the western rear property line.
Design Review approval is required because the project is located in a planned zoning district as outlined in Section 22.42.020.A of the Marin County Code.
