The applicant Design Review approval to construct a 25 square foot detached accessory structure to be utilized as a trash enclosure to the western front side of the property on an improved lot with an existing single family residence in unincorporated Mill Valley. The proposed structure would reach a maximum height of approximately 6 feet and would have the following setbacks: 0 feet from the western front property line, 1 foot-5 ¼ inches foot from the northern side property line.
Design Review approval is required because the proposed detached accessory structure encroaches into the required front and side yard setback for the R1-B1 zoning district.
