The applicant requests Coastal Permit approval for the installation of a water well on the property in the present location of a test well, which has already been installed. The water from the well would provide the Stinson Beach County Water District with additional operational flexibility and supply reliability during peak demand periods, and to serve as a replacement source in-lieu of surface water during dry seasons and drought periods. The proposed well would have the following setbacks from property lines: more than 100 feet from the northern front property line; approximately 99 feet from the western side property line; 34 feet from the eastern side property line; and approximately 100 feet from the southern rear property line.
Pursuant to Section 22.56.055I.C a Coastal Permit is required for the construction of a water well in the coastal zone.
