Project Description

The applicant requests Coastal Permit and Use Permit Amendment approval to construct and use an 800- square-foot detached accessory structure as an accessory dwelling unit on a lot developed with a multi-family residence in Stinson Beach. The 800 square feet of development would result in a total site floor area of 6.75-percent on the 52,264-square-foot (1.2 acres) lot. The detached accessory structure would reach a maximum height of 13.8 feet from surrounding grade and would maintain the following setbacks from property lines: 83 feet from the north, front property line, 79 feet from the south, rear property line, 97 feet from the north, side property line and 100 feet from the south, side property line.

In accordance with Section 22.68.060 of the Marin County Local Coastal Program-Implementation Plan, the proposed project entails development and uses subject to Coastal Permit approval.
