The applicant requests Design Review approval to construct a new 830 square foot accessory structure on a developed lot in San Rafael. The 830 square feet of proposed development would result in an overall floor area ratio of 23 percent on the 9,708 square foot lot. The proposed building would reach a maximum height of 15 feet above surrounding grade and the exterior walls would have the following setbacks: 7 inches from the eastern front property line; 8 inches from the northern side property line; more than 300 feet from the southern side property line; 7 inches from the western rear property line.
Design Review approval is required because the project located in at planned district as outlined in Section 22.42.020.A of the Marin County Code.
