The applicant requests retroactive Design Review approval to install a 360-square-foot detached accessory structure (shed) on a lot developed with a single-family residence in San Anselmo. The proposed structure would reach a maximum height of 11 feet as measured from existing grade and would have the following setbacks: 15 feet from the north front property line; 2 feet from the west side property line; and over 100 feet from the east side and south rear property lines.
Design Review approval is required because the project involves the construction of a detached accessory structure located within a required setback pursuant to Marin County Development Code Section 22.20.090 (B)(2).
