Project Description

The applicant requests Design Review approval to construct a new 178 square foot addition on to the existing residence in Sleepy Hollow. The existing building area is 6,190 square feet and the existing floor area is 5,770 square feet. The proposed development would result in a building area of 6,368 square feet and a floor area of 5,948 square feet. Therefore, the project would result in a floor area ratio of 24 percent of the 23,958 square foot lot. The proposed addition would reach a maximum height of 9 feet above surrounding grade and the exterior walls would have the following setbacks: 56 feet from the western front property line; 22 feet from the southern side property line; 81 feet from the northern side property line; more than 100 feet from the eastern rear property line.

Design Review approval is required because the project the floor area is over 3,500 square feet.
