Project Description

The applicant requests Coastal Permit and Design Review approval to replace an existing modular home with a new 1,453 square foot residence on a developed lot in Dillon Beach. The proposed development would reach a maximum height of 17 feet above surrounding grade and would have a setback of 17 feet from the western property line and have a setback of over 100 feet from the all other property lines.

Coastal Permit approval is required pursuant to interim Marin County Code Section 22.56.055i because the project entails improvements to a property located in a Coastal zoning district not otherwise exempt from Coastal Permit requirements. Design Review approval is required pursuant to interim Marin County Code Section 22.82i because the project site is located in a planned zoning district.
