Project Description

The applicant is requesting A Pre-Application review for the redevelopment of the former Outback Steakhouse Restaurant at the Marin Gateway shopping center (formerly Marin City USA). The existing 6,500-square-foot building would be demolished and replaced with a new 4,000-square-foot building with a drive-through services. The purpose of this Preapplication Review is to identify all applicable development standards including but not limited to required parking spaces, required drive-isle width for a drive-through services, maximum FAR, minimum setbacks from property lines and wetland areas, and any other pertinent regulation.

The property is governed by the Marin County Code Planned Commercial (Chapter 22.12, Table 2-6) and the Marin City USA Master Plan (PC94-142).
