Project Description

This applicant requests Design Review approval to construct a new pool with integrated retaining walls on a lot developed with a single-family dwelling. The new proposed development would result in an increase of the existing floor area ratio of 22 percent on the 18,177 square foot lot. The proposed pool would reach a maximum height of 5 feet, 6 inches above surrounding grade and the exterior walls would have the following setbacks: 76 feet, 6 inches from the southern front property line; 9 feet from the western side property line; 50 feet, 6 inches from the eastern side property line; 67 feet, 10 inches from the northern rear property line.

Design Review approval is required pursuant to Marin County Code Section 22.42.020.A because the project is proposed on a property located within a planned zoning district.
