The applicant requests Design Review approval to legalize a fence on a property developed with an existing residence located in an unincorporated area of San Rafael. The fence would reach a maximum height of 7 feet above the surrounding grade and would be generally located along the southern front property line and along a portion of the northern side property line with setbacks that would range from a minimum of zero feet to a maximum of 9 feet, 6 inches from the nearest respective property line.
Design Review approval is required pursuant to Section 22.42.020.C of the Marin County Development Code because the project entails a fence that exceeds the standards provided in Section 22.20.050 of the Code.
