The applicant requests Design Review approval to construct a 73 square foot addition to an existing single family residence in unincorporated Kentfield. The existing building area and floor area is 5,616 square feet. The proposed development would result in a building area and floor area of 5,689 square feet, and a floor area ratio of 14.5 percent on the 39,100 square foot lot. The proposed addition would reach a maximum height of 30 feet above surrounding grade and have the following setbacks: 42 feet from the southern front property line; 84 feet from the northwestern rear property line; and greater than 100 feet from the southwestern side and southeastern side property lines.

Design Review approval is required because the project is in a planned zoning district.
