Project Description

The applicant is requesting Design Review approval to construct three new additions totaling 149 square feet onto an existing residence in Kent Woodlands. The existing building area is 4,272 square feet and the existing floor area is 3,438 square feet. The proposed development would result in a building area of 4,026 square feet and a floor area of 3,407 square feet. Therefore, the project would result in a floor area ratio of 0.083 percent of the 42,078 square foot. The proposed building would reach a maximum height of approximately 22 feet above surrounding grade. Various site improvements would also be entailed in the proposed development, including interior remodel, conversion of exiting areas and removal of a detached accessory structure.

Design Review approval is required because the project because the project is within a planned zoning district.
