Project Description

The applicant is requesting Design Review approval to construct a new deck located approximately 25 feet above natural grade along the northern side of the residence and convert the front parking deck to a grass-planted lawn along the eastern side of the residence. The project also includes the following proposed improvements: a hot tub, and repairing and replacing an existing deck along the rear of the property. The new deck is proposed to be located the following distances from property lines: 16 feet from the eastern front property line; 44 feet from the northern side property line; 32 feet from the western read property line; and more than 100 feet from the southern side property line.

Design Review approval is required pursuant to Marin County Code Section 22.42.025.G because the proposed deck exceeds a height of 5 feet from grade.
