Bolinas, CA 94924
Parcel Numbers: 193-162-22, -23, and -24
The applicant requests Coastal Permit to allow construction of underground pier and concrete tieback system to create a retaining wall that would expand across three properties in the community of Bolinas. The project would involve drilling steel piles 5 feet into the bedrock from the elevated portions of the properties. The steel piles would be approximately 45 to 50 feet long and approximately 30 to 36 inches in diameter. No construction would occur on the bluff side or at beach level. All proposed improvements would occur within three private parcels, and the retaining wall system would be buried entirely underground.
Coastal Permit approval is required because the project involves alteration of land in Coastal Zone pursuant to Marin County Municipal Code Section 22.56.055I.B.
