The applicant requests Design Review approval to allow for physical improvements to the Strawberry Recreation District in Mill Valley. You are proposing to demolish an existing 13,963 square-foot one-story pool house and construct a new 18,164 square-foot two-story community building. The new community building is proposed to include new locker rooms, family restrooms, concessions, a kitchen, office space, a meeting room, a multi-purpose room, and a roof deck. The proposed development would result in a building area of 18,164 square feet on the 235,224 square-foot lot. The structure is proposed to reach a maximum height of 27 feet, 6 inches above grade and is proposed to be located 99 feet, 11 ¾ inches from the southern front property line, more than 100 feet from the western side property line, more than 100 feet from the eastern side property line, and more than 400 feet from the northern rear property line.
