The applicant requests a Sign Review approval to install a new 18 square-foot, non-illuminated free-standing sign on a two feet pedestal on an improved lot developed with a “Presbytery of the Redwoods Church” in unincorporated Tiburon. The free-standing sign is proposed to reach a maximum height of five feet above surrounding grade and is proposed to be located approximately 13 feet, eight inches from the southern property line. The proposed sign would be constructed of a routed aluminum cabinet painted off-white box consisting of a dark grey lettering. The base of the sign would be two feet wooden base. The lettering and the logo on the free standing Sign would be illuminated with L.E.D. lighting. Electric power would l be supplied from the nearby Sanctuary from a junction box installed on the wall of the building, by a conduit buried 18” deep.
Sign Review approval is required pursuant to Marin County Code Section 22.60.020.A.2.a because the project entails the installation of an illuminated freestanding sign.
