Project Description

The applicant requests a Temporary Use Permit approval to keep two miniature goats on a property that is currently developed with a Single-Family Residence.

The proposed goat structure would have the following setbacks: 28 feet, 2 inches from the northern side property line; 41 feet, 11 inches from the southern side property line; 32 feet, 1 inches from the western rear property line; more than 50 feet from the eastern front property line.

Temporary Use Permit approval is required because the keeping of miniature goats is, in the opinion of the Director, similar to and compatible with the zoning district and surrounding land uses as outlined in Section 22.50.040.

Zoning:  R1-B1 (Residential, Single-Family; 6,000 square foot minimum lot area)
Countywide Plan Designation:
SF4 (Single-Family, 1-2 units/acre)
Community Plan (if applicable):
Alto Strawberry
