SPECIAL NOTICE
The Board of Supervisors is holding meetings that allow for remote participation as well as in-person participation in response to the continued COVID-19 pandemic. Zoom videoconferencing technology remains available for participants as it has been since March 2020. The Board members will participate in the Civic Center's Board chamber and encourage both types of participation. Those visiting the Board chamber are requested to wear a face covering and respect social distancing while watching the meeting and may lower their face covering when speaking at the microphone. For instructions and guidance on how to watch the meeting or submit public comment, visit the Board of Supervisors' meeting webpage. Viewers also may watch the Community Media Center of Marin's webcast. Comcast subscribers in Marin may watch on Channel 27.

Agenda Item #6: After convening at 9 a.m., the Board will receive a presentation from the Marin Women's Commission, which has promoted equal opportunity, economic independence, and access to resources for Marin women since 1974. Its mission is to represent women and girls of diverse backgrounds and circumstances and advocate for equality via policy advocation, public education efforts, and collaboration with other organizations.

Agenda Item #7: The Board will hear a presentation from the Marin County Agricultural Commissioner/Director of Weights and Measures about the 2021 Marin County Consumer Protection Report. The department staff, based in Novato, serves the public’s interest by ensuring accuracy and equity in the marketplace and protecting the health and welfare of Marin residents. Staff performs inspections to ensure accuracy of measuring devices and checking the prices charged to consumers.
