Administrator's Report on COVID-19 Response

Agenda Item #2: Shortly after convening at 9 a.m., the Board will hear a report from the County Administrator and possibly other County staff about the local COVID-19 response and the monkeypox emergency. The County proclaimed a local COVID-19 emergency and a public health emergency in early March 2020, and since then the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) and other County staff has coordinated public response efforts. Public Health staff is closely watching cases traced to emerging COVID-19 variants as well as monkeypox.

The Board heard a report from Dr. Matt Willis, Public Health Officer.
