Preview

Agenda Item #13: No earlier than 2 p.m., the Board will hear a request from the County Administrator to receive an informational report on applications submitted under Cycle 2 of the Community Services Grant Program. The program provides one-time funding allocations between $1,000 and $10,000 to nonprofit service providers or other governmental entities to fund specific projects or programs that provide a measurable benefit to Marin residents. Funding is not intended to provide ongoing financial support for the project or program. Cycle 2 was open from January 1 through March 31, and 59 requests worth a combined total of $453,746 were received. The available budget for Cycle 2 is approximately $153,000. Staff recommends that the Board review the applications and provide direction to staff on allotments.

Review

The Board received the informational report, provided feedback to staff, and scheduled allocations for May 18.
