Agenda items 7-9: The Board will hear requests from the Department of Human Resources about updates with several bargaining units representing County employees. The first request is to approve tentative agreements to provide specified COVID-related benefits with: Marin County Sheriff’s Staff Officers’ Association; Marin County Deputy Sheriff’s’ Association; Marin County Fire Department Firefighters’ Association; Marin County Battalion Chiefs’ Association; Marin Association of Public Employees (MAPE) General Unit; MAPE Health and Human Services Unit; MAPE Nurses Unit. The second request is extend to unrepresented employees COVID-related benefits in the same manner as those benefits extended to represented employees. Lastly, the Board will hear a request to extend the expiration date of the current memorandum of understanding to June 30, 2022, and provide specified benefits, with: Marin County Management Employees’ Association (MCMEA); Marin County Probation Managers’ Association; Teamsters Union Local 856, Probation Unit; and Teamsters Union Local 856, Deputy District Attorney Unit.
The Board approved all the labor updates.
