Agenda Item #15: No earlier than 1:30 p.m., the Board will consider final draft plans regarding the redrawing of supervisorial districts and communities of interest in connection with the redistricting of supervisorial boundaries, and adopt an ordinance setting actual boundaries. The boundaries between Marin's five supervisorial districts are being reviewed to assure relatively equal population distribution according to new 2020 U.S. Census data as well as compliance with the Voting Rights Act and state requirements. A final map was approved December 7 with adjustments, and the ordinance before the Board reflects those adjustments. The ordinance must be adopted by December 15 to ensure the new boundaries are reflected in the June 2022 primary elections.
