Shortly after the Board convenes at 9 a.m., the Board will hear a report from the County Administrator and possibly other County staff about the local COVID-19 response. The County proclaimed a local emergency and a public health emergency in early March, and since then staff has worked in an Emergency Operations Center (EOC) to coordinate public response efforts. A local shelter-in-place order was first issued March 16 to help limit the spread of COVID-19, and the latest sheltering order is in effect until May 31.
The Board heard the report, including input from Marin County Parks Director Max Korten, Health and Human Services Director Benita McLarin, and Assistant County Administrator Dan Eilerman.
