Salary Freeze for Board of Supervisors Members

Board of Supervisors

Meeting Date: 6/16/2020

The Board will hear a request from the County Administrator to adopt a resolution to freeze Board of Supervisors’ salaries for fiscal year 2020-21. Board salaries are set at 60% of salaries of Marin County Superior Court judges. The policy has been in place since 2003 to take politics out of Supervisors' compensation. Because of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Board has expressed interest in not receiving additional compensation for the next fiscal year. The budget savings is estimated at  $20,000.

The Board adopted the resolution.
