Shortly after the Board convenes at 9 a.m., the Board will hear a report from the County Administrator and possibly other County staff about the local COVID-19 response. The County proclaimed a local emergency and a public health emergency in early March, and since then staff has worked in an Emergency Operations Center (EOC) to coordinate public response efforts. A local shelter-in-place order was first issued March 16 to help limit the spread of COVID-19.
Review
The Board received the update.

The Board will hear a presentation from the Department of Public Works on the 2020-21 Capital Improvement Program (CIP) Workplan. Due to time constraints in June, the annual CIP presentation was delayed. This is an overview of various projects whose appropriations were approved in the 2020-21 County Budget. The COVID-19 pandemic and potential Public Safety Power Shutoffs (PSPS) have informed this plan, which covers short-term and long-term capital needs. Staff requests that the Board accept the report.
