Shortly after the Board convenes at 9 a.m., the Board will hear a report from the County Administrator and possibly other County staff about the local COVID-19 response. The County proclaimed a local emergency and a public health emergency in early March, and since then staff has worked in an Emergency Operations Center (EOC) to coordinate public response efforts. A local shelter-in-place order was issued in March 16 to help limit the spread of COVID-19. A new sheltering order was issued March 31 and is in effect until May 3.
The Board heard the report, including comments from Dr. Matt Willis, County Public Health Officer.
