The Board will hear a request from the Department of Human Resources to approve a tentative agreement with the Marin County Fire Department Fire Fighters’ Association for a successor 3-year collective bargaining agreement. The agreement reflects many of the County's long-term priorities and is consistent with agreements reached with other units in 2018. Terms include a 3% cost-of-living adjustment to salaries in Year 1, 2.5% in Year 2, and 3% in Year 3. The terms also include agreements with equity adjustments, computation of overtime, wage adjustment for holidays, health benefits, uniform allowance, and retiree medical.
