Shortly after convening at 9 a.m., the Board will hear a request from the County Administrator to approve allocations for Cycle 1 of the Community Services Grant Program. The program provides one-time funding allocations between $1,000 and $10,000 to nonprofit service providers or other governmental entities to fund specific projects or programs that provide a measurable benefit to Marin residents. Funding is not intended to provide ongoing financial support for the project or program. Cycle 1 was open from July 1 through September 30, and 51 requests worth a combined total of $359,147 were received. The available budget for Cycle 1 is approximately $150,000.
The Board approved the allocations as presented.
