The Board will conduct a public hearing regarding the continuation of the Rush Creek Landscaping and Lighting District and consider a resolution to confirm the assessment for the Rush Creek Landscaping and Lighting District (LLD). On June 16, the Board adopted a resolution of intention to continue maintenance and operation of the Rush Creek Landscaping and Lighting District on the east side of Novato. As required by the Streets and Highways Code, the Board must now conduct a public information meeting, allowing an opportunity for the public to ask questions about the district and the $949 annual assessment. The Engineer's Report for the LLD recommends no change in the current assessment of $949 per year (for fiscal year 2019-2020) for the 89 homes that fall within the LLD.
The Board conducted the public hearing and adopted a resolution confirming the diagram and assessment for the Rush Creek Lighting and Landscaping District.
