Highlights of the February 12, 2019 Board Meeting:
Shortly after convening at 9 a.m., the Board will hear an update from the Marin County Free Library (MCFL) and the San Rafael Public Library on the Northgate Pop-up Library collaborative project. Working with Merlone Geier Partners, the new owners of the Northgate mall in San Rafael, the two library staffs arranged to occupy an empty space in the mall during the month of December 2018. Merlone Geier Partners provided the available space – a former shoe store – at no cost, and MCFL provided library materials from its distribution center and assisted with staffing the location.
The Board received the update.
