- Workshop on Homelessness
Preview
At 9 a.m., the Board of Supervisors will conduct an informational workshop to engage the community about progress on homelessness in Marin County. The workshop goal is the explore the current landscape of Marin's homeless population, services being provided, and why the County is focusing on a Housing First approach. No end time for the workshop is determined, but it is expected to go several hours and include time for public comment.
Review
The Board conducted the informational workshop. Staff emphasized the effectiveness of the Whole Person Care approach and the Housing First initiative, and both the public and Board asked questions and provided feedback.
