No earlier than 9:30 a.m., following completion of the Marin County Housing Authority Board of Commissioners meeting, the Board of Supervisors will hear a request from Marin County Parks to adopt a resolution vacating and rescinding Resolution No. 2017-126, which authorized the County’s acquisition of the San Geronimo Golf Course property from the Trust for Public Land. The request directs the County to take no further action in reliance on Resolution No. 2017-126. The Board authorized the Board President to execute a purchase and sale agreement for the golf course in November 2017, but a lawsuit was filed in December 2017 to block the agreement. On October 29, 2018, Marin County Superior Court issued an order to vacate the agreement, and Marin County Parks is proposing the resolution to comply with that order.
The Board adopted the resolution.
