Shortly after the Board convenes at 10 a.m., following completion of the Marin County Housing Authority Board of Commissioners meeting, Board will hear a request from the Information Services and Technology Department to authorize the Board President to execute a five-year agreement with VOX Network Solutions worth $3,960,422 to replace the County’s telephone system. The existing system was installed in 1997 and supports more than 3,500 phones. The proposed new system would accommodate mobile applications, software-based phones, Skype, webchat features, automated features for disaster recovery messaging, and integration to an emergency radio system used by first responders.
The Board authorized the agreement.
