No earlier than 10 a.m., the Board will hear a request from Marin County Parks to conduct a public hearing regarding the continuation of the Rush Creek Landscaping and Lighting District, an unincorporated area in eastern Novato. On June 13, the Board adopted a resolution of intention to continue the district's maintenance and operation. As required by the state, the Board must conduct a meeting to allow an opportunity for the public to ask questions about the district and the $949 annual assessment. The public protest hearing is the fourth of a four-step process.
The board approved the request to conduct a public hearing regarding the continuation of the Rush Creek Landscaping and Lighting District.
