No earlier than 1:30 p.m., the Board will conduct a hearing to consider of the North Coast Land Holdings Appeal of Master Plan Extension Denial and their appeal of Suspension of Preparation of Environmental Impact Report for the North Coast Land Holdings Project (Community Plan Amendment, Master Plan Amendment, Design Review, Master Use Permit, Tentative Map, and Tree Removal Permit.) A Master Plan extension would give the County sufficient time to process a new application and start preparing an environmental impact report (EIR) for the new application for the former Golden Gate Baptist Theological Seminary property in unincorporated Strawberry. The property owner proposes 304 housing units and a graduate school, replacing the seminary, of about 1,000 students.
The Board conducted the hearing and adopted a resolution denying the extension of the Master Plan and adopted another resolution denying the owner's appeal.
