No earlier than 10:30 a.m., the Board will conduct a hearing to consideration a resolution adopting fees to establish the Safe Drug Disposal Program. The Marin County Safe Drug Disposal Ordinance requires drug producers selling drugs in Marin County to participate in an approved drug stewardship program for the collection and disposal of unwanted drugs from residential sources and provides that the drug producers pay administrative and operational costs related to the plan. Proposed fees would enable the Environmental Health Division of the Community Development Agency to operate the program without reliance on the County's General Fund.
The Board conducted the hearing and adopted the resolution regarding the Safe Drug Disposal Program.
