The Board will hear a request from the Department of Public Works to approve actions related to the 2016 Road Resurfacing Project (Central Region). The project consists of road resurfacing, disability complaint facilities, drainage improvements, traffic striping, pavement markings and other items for roads in the Marinwood area. Staff recommends that the board award a contract to the lowest responsible bidder, Argonaut Constructors of Santa Rosa, in the base bid amount of $2,091,145 and authorize a contract contingency of $209,114.50 for a total construction cost of $2,300,259.50.
